We had a wonderful stay at Arya Arkananta Resort & Spa in the peaceful Sayan area of Ubud. The resort is beautiful and well-maintained, with lush gardens, elegant wooden architecture, and a serene atmosphere that perfectly blends with the surrounding rice fields and nature.
The staff were outstanding — very polite, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay, making us feel truly welcomed. The rooms felt spacious and comfortable, with lovely views, and the overall property has a calm, upscale boutique feel without being pretentious.
If you’re looking for a relaxing base in Ubud with great service and natural beauty, this is an excellent choice. We’d happily return.

This is truly the most beautiful place I could have wished for. From the moment you arrive, everything feels effortless—there is almost instant access to anything you might need: reception, transport, food, spa… everything is seamlessly taken care of.

Even though the resort is not right in the city center, this actually becomes one of its greatest strengths. The peace and quiet are incredible, and whenever you want to go into town, there is always a transfer available to take you to a pickup point at any time. You never have to worry about taxis—reception can arrange a private car for you almost anytime, to take you wherever you need. I personally used this service for day trips and airport transfers, all at very reasonable prices. A special thank you to our driver, Iting, for his openness, helpful information, and safe driving.

The entire place feels like a portal into the energy of Bali. The surrounding nature is simply healing—you feel it just by being there. And the spa experience is on another level: some of the best massages I’ve ever had. Huge thanks to Ari for the professionalism and care shown during every session.

What truly makes this place exceptional is the people. The team is always there for you, smiling, kind, and genuinely attentive. The food is amazing, and the restaurant staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Liana, Hani, and everyone at the restaurant—you made every meal feel special.

Rai and other members of the team consistently checked in to make sure our stay was perfect, which meant a lot. In the evenings, we even enjoyed beautiful dance performances and local artistic programs, paired with delicious dinners—an authentic and memorable cultural experience.

I’m sorry I couldn’t remember everyone’s name, but I am deeply grateful to every single person who welcomed us with a smile, helped us, guided us, and introduced us to the local culture in such an authentic and humble way.

I cannot wait to come back. 💛

We had a very nice dinner here. The soup was excellent, flavorful and comforting, and the rest of the meal was just as good. Hany is kind and professional, and the overall experience was wonderful!

I had a wonderful stay at Arya Arkananta. The open bathroom concept was beautiful, and the wooden rooms perfectly matched the overall design and atmosphere of the hotel.

The staff were always smiling and very helpful. Daily housekeeping was excellent. Both breakfast and dinner were incredibly delicious, with a satisfying variety on the menu.

I also tried the full body massage and a foot massage the next day—both were amazing. The public pool is not very large, but it’s definitely sufficient. I also really liked the pool hours, and after a certain time, the hotel becomes very शांत and peaceful.

One thing to consider: if you’re not comfortable with animals, you might want to think twice. You may see small lizards around, even in the bathroom or near the sunbeds.

Overall, everything was great—thank you for such a lovely experience!
